Overview

 

The Product Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for being an expert on Festool products & common applications to create compelling content for Festool's marketing channels - social, digital, email, website, retail, etc.  This role is bi-lingual and will be creating and reviewing content in both English & Spanish.  This role will collaborate across the marketing team and product management team to ensure product & brand content is engaging, accurate and reflects the brand.

 

Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions

1. Create compelling content (video, copy & still) for new product launches, existing products, events & brand initiatives for use across digital, social, retail, and other marketing channels. English & Spanish content.
2. Collaborate with product management team and local marketing team to review global product content (messaging, images, videos, etc.) for North American market; provide recommendations and adapt content as needed to be locally relevant and compelling.
3. Develop, plan and execute product focused digital content to entertain, educate and inspire consumers about the benefits of our product portfolio – partner with Social Media Manager. English & Spanish content.
4. Collaboratively partner with both internal and external videographers/agencies to create content as needed.
5. Support media & influencer initiatives by proofing press materials for product accuracy as well as consulting with the Social Media Manager on influencer fit, product seeding and influencer content review.
6. Attend trade and dealer shows to provide hands-on demonstrations of the product portfolio.
7. Host influencer Build-Off events (on-site or off-site) in partnership with strategic partners & internal Social Media Manager.
8. Develop & proof-read Spanish language content across all marketing channels – video, print collateral, emails, social media, website, catalog etc.
9. Support the Sales Team during National Sales Meetings by providing accurate product content and marketing materials in partnership with the Technical Sales Support Manager.
10. Travel as needed to support new product launch events, build-offs or digital content series.
11. Stay up to date on competitive products, industry trends and applications, as well as common end-consumer questions.
12. Maintain assigned resources, including tools, accessories, builds and materials required to execute marketing content and related activities.
13. Support additional marketing initiatives and projects as needed.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum requirements to competently perform the key responsibilities of this job in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Basic Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Remodeler, Woodworker, Carpenter, Cabinet/Furniture Maker or related professions. Bi-lingual Spanish Familiarity with Festool products across the portfolio & applications 1+ years of experience in a customer facing role 1+ years of experience in marketing or sales Ability to travel as needed Excellent communication skills with the capability of explaining complex applications.
