Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Systainer Systems North America is scaling fast—and we’re backed by two German parent companies with decades of proven excellence. We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead a lean, hands-on team (2 direct reports) and massively level up how we receive, assemble, pick, pack, and ship. In this role, you’ll own the day-to-day while also building the future: implement new processes, drive continuous improvement, and pilot smart ideas that lift quality, speed, and customer experience. If you love turning a young operation into a high-performing one—and you’re excited to jump on a forklift in the morning and roll out a new workflow in the afternoon—you’ll thrive here. This is an all-hands-on-deck environment with real autonomy, visible impact, and room to grow as the business expands.

  8. Drive continuous improvement (e.g. 5S, layout/slotting, right-sized packaging, pick methods) to lift speed, accuracy, and unit cost – test, learn, standardize.
  9. Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and company policies; run audits and equipment checks; report and resolve incidents/near-misses; maintain a clean, organized facility.
  10. Run the Daily Start-Up huddle: align on status, priorities, and risks; escalate early to protect customer experience.
  11. Manage shipping execution and carrier performance (rate shopping, manifesting, pickups, claims, delivery issues) to safeguard customer experience.
  12. Partner cross-functionally (customer service, sales, supply chain, carriers) to resolve issues, manage priorities, and improve end-to-end flow.
