The Opportunity
TTS North America is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Integrated Supply Chain to lead our end-to-end North American supply chain organization.
This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility across demand and supply planning, inventory management, inbound logistics, distribution, transportation, import compliance, and quality. The Senior Director will play a critical role in strengthening our supply chain capabilities as the business continues to grow, while building the processes, systems, data, and team needed to support the organization into the future.
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, TTS North America, this leader will oversee a team spanning distribution center operations, supply planning, logistics operations, and quality. The role also serves as a key North American partner to our German headquarters.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the North American S&OP process, bringing together Sales, Finance, Operations, and our global organization to establish an aligned demand and supply plan.
- Own supply and inventory planning, including inventory policy, safety stock, coverage targets, replenishment parameters, and reduction of slow-moving and excess inventory.
- Lead distribution and outbound fulfillment, including receiving, picking, packing, inventory control, transportation, returns, capacity planning, and delivery performance.
- Develop strategies for distribution capacity, labor planning, carrier management, and transportation performance.
- Partner closely with our German headquarters on forecasts, allocations, inbound logistics, import compliance, global processes, and supply availability.
- Oversee international inbound flow, customs documentation, HTS classification, duties, tariffs, and landed-cost visibility.
- Lead North American quality activities, including inspection, product holds and releases, product compliance, and returns disposition.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to integrate supply chain considerations into commercial planning and decision-making.
- Lead Supply Chain’s participation in the SAP S/4HANA implementation, including process design, data readiness, testing, and cutover support.
- Establish reliable, reconciled data and scalable processes across inventory, inbound logistics, planning, and distribution.
- Evaluate future supply chain capabilities, including local kitting, additional supply origins, freight procurement, and distribution capacity.
- Build, develop, and retain a high-performing supply chain organization while establishing clear ownership and accountability across critical processes.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will bring a combination of strategic supply chain leadership and hands-on operational experience. This role requires a leader who can move comfortably between executive-level strategy, cross-functional collaboration, detailed planning, and the operational realities of a distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience spanning both planning and distribution.
- 5+ years of experience leading managers or supervisors.
- Demonstrated ownership of an S&OP process involving Sales, Finance, and Operations.
- Experience establishing inventory policy and managing within working-capital targets.
- Experience building or transforming teams, including hiring, role design, and process development.
- Experience with international supply, ocean freight, and import compliance.
- Experience working with international teams, multiple time zones, and a corporate headquarters outside the region.
- Strong ERP experience, ideally SAP, including participation in an ERP or WMS implementation or upgrade.
- Demonstrated experience applying continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and executive communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or MBA.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
- Experience within a mid-sized manufacturing or distribution environment with a European parent company.
- Experience with warehouse automation, RF or RFID picking, and high-volume parcel operations.
- Experience with freight procurement or container booking.
- Familiarity with customs brokerage, HTS classification, and tariff exposure management.
- Experience with product quality, inspection, and compliance in a distribution environment.
