Job purpose
The Regional Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding assigned key accounts within a defined territory while driving new sales opportunities and positioning the company for profitable growth. The RKAM will also provide general support to our national accounts.
Duties and responsibilities
We are seeking a candidate who is passion about sales and people. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Acquiring regional B2B key accounts through various channels
- Developing and growing current key accounts within the specified territory
- Interfacing with national account leaders and serving as a central point of contact
- Forecasting, analyzing and planning the effectiveness of sales and results
- Reviewing and negotiating special pricing agreements and contracts
- Driving wider and deeper account penetration with new and existing accounts through proactive contact with accounts
- Implementing the business plan that provides acceptable sales growth year over year in accordance with established plan and market share targets
- Working with the Regional Sales Director to define and meet annual established sales goals
- Establishing and maintaining a high level of quality and timely service to customers for maximum retention
- All other duties assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or Marketing or related field
- Must be proficient in MS Office ( Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Minimum 5+ years of Account Management or relevant Sales experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must be able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines and targets
- Entrepreneurial attitude
- Ability to function in a fast- pace environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- Ability to travel 100% of the time
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
