Overview
The Trainer and Coach in the Automotive After-Sales market is responsible for the promotion of the Festool/3M value proposition through training, business development and sales within the North American market.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages the presentation of the Festool / 3M value proposition in the AAD market;
- Plans, schedules and provides training and coaching of 3M sales and tech force;
- Plans, schedules and provides training and clinics at 3M acquired body shops;
- Manages the training of multipliers (i.e. paint industry, Authorized Distributors);
- Monitors the North America AAD market trends and requirements and reports to the Automotive Business Unit;
- Keep Festool top of mind within the 3M Organization supporting the achievement of the Sales targets through promoting in to the AAD market;
- Introduces the Festool/3M value proposition to body shops;
- Utilizes CRM system on a regular basis and ensures information is updated timely;
- Develops the Festool system penetration;
- Provides support for the local Festool product launch;
- Reports on the latest market trends;
- Develops outcome improvement resources;
- Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques, making support readily available, and integrating support with routine job functions;
- Assist 3M Channel Specialist in establishing and maintaining proper product coverage and stocking requirements at the distributor level;
- Performs other required tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or tech school graduate;
- Minimum five (5) years of Automotive (paint and non-paint) experience in the US market;
- Strong attention to detail and an outstanding sense of organization and scheduling;
- Outgoing personality with ability to communicate well;
- High level of integrity and trust;
- Team-player with selfless attitude;
- Ability to balance demand and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
- Problem solving and troubleshooting Skills;
- Ability to handle, maintain and demonstrate tools and systems in professional manner;
- Willingness and ability to travel (approx 60%-75% overnight travel required).
