Overview
 
The Applications Developer will provide team leadership in creating application solutions and services while maintaining existing code.  The position entails database design and implementation to integrate with database driven applications.
 
Job Responsibilities 

• Provides training and assistance on full range of technical issues to staff on a project team;
• Analyzes and defines project requirements including but not limited to hardware, software, procedural, and operational requirements;
• Researches new technologies that can assist in the improvement and efficiency of business operations;
• Develops and maintains current application environment;
• Documents all new and/or modified application code;
• Communicates directly with end-users to gather application enhancement requests and desired modifications;
• Adheres to coding standards in modifying and creating company applications;
• Designs and implements database functionality;
• Maintains database integrity;
• Participates in life-cycle of project development;
• Understands object-oriented programming concepts;
• Performs other required tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; Equivalent related experience may substitute for formal education where appropriate;
• Experience using .NET Framework;
• Experience developing in Visual Basic, VBScript and Javascript;
• Experience with SQL Server 2005;
• MCSD or MCAD certification desired, but not required;
• 3 - 5 years of web application development experience required;
• Developing in C# a plus.
