Overview

 

The Digital Marketing Specialist contributes to the success of Festool by participating in the planning and managing the day-to-day aspects of Festool’s digital initiatives, including multiple websites, social media, email marketing, cross-channel campaigns, mobile, and digital retail advertising.

 

Job Responsibilities

 
  • Actively participates in the ongoing planning associated to digital initiatives;
  • Executes the management of social media strategy including publishing, monitoring and moderating multiple large social communities;
  • Creatively contributes to the strategizing, planning and execution of digital promotion of product launches, events, and other campaigns;
  • Uses website, social, and email analytics — along with other marketing data points — to deliver actionable insights to improve Festool’s digital initiatives;
  • Collaboratively manages the execution of Festool’s email and digital communication strategy;
  • Manages day-to-day aspects of consumer web presence;
  • Stays up to date on industry best practices associated with interactive and content marketing, and make ongoing recommended adjustments to Festool initiatives;
  • Coordinates and responds to Customer Service and other team members on digital initiatives related issues and inquiries;
  • Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of Festool both within and outside the scope of digital marketing experiences;
  • Adheres to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures and develops new ones when necessary as relates to maintaining content and branding standards throughout all digital channels;
  • Special projects as defined by needs of organization or specific needs of marketing department;
  • Performs other required tasks as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, New Media or a related field;
  • 3 - 5 years of hands on experience in digital marketing including direct involvement with e-mail service providers, social media outlets and web campaign development.
  • Google Analytics or other web analytics software competency;
  • Strong writing and editing skills;
  • Database management and e-mail marketing experience required;
  • Excellent personal computing skills and familiarity with web technologies;
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail with ability to juggle multiple priorities;
  • Attention to detail.
