Overview
 
The North America Product Trainer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, coordination, and facilitation of Festool USA training programs.
 
Job Responsibilities
 
  • Develops, implements, and monitors training programs for Festool USA;
  • Assesses training needs for new and existing dealers, end users and regional sales managers;
  • Identifies internal and external training programs to address competency gaps;
  • Partners with internal stakeholders regarding training needs;
  • Organizes, develops or sources training programs to meet specific training needs;
  • Develops training aids such as manuals and handbooks;
  • Presents training programs using recognized training techniques and tools;
  • Facilitates learning through classroom instruction and external training venues;
  • Provides feedback to program participants and management;
  • Provides support to Sales Meetings, Exhibitions, Roadshow and local dealer fairs;
  • Facilitates training activities for key accounts and paint application specialists as needed;
  • Conducts routine association training mainly with paint associations;
  • Manages and maintains in-house training facilities and equipment;
  • Keeps current on training design and methodology;
  • Performs other required tasks as assigned.
 
 Job Requirements
 
  • Technical education as a master craftsman, technician or equivalent education with practical experience is required;
  • Minimum two (2) years of related experience preferred;
  • Strong interest in tools and related products and good understanding of all relevant applications of all segments;
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of customer focus;
  • Strong attention to detail and an outstanding sense of organization;
  • Outgoing personality with ability to communicate well with outside clients as well as internally with employees from various departments;
  • Ability to balance demand and prioritize in a fast-paced environment;
  • Must be able to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail;
  • Position is located in Lebanon, Indiana.
