Overview

The Marketing Specialist provides support for a range of Product Management, Marketing Team, and Training activities. This role is primarily responsible for the planning and management of the Festool Roadshow in North America. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist assists with the development of marketing and training collateral.

Job Responsibilities

• Manages end-to end Exhibition planning for Wood and Paint divisions, including reserving space, organizing all logistics, supporting on site, etc.;

• Manages all of the planning for Festool Connect with external partner;

• Plans all Roadshow logistics including technical aspects, Roadshow tour planning and new exhibition concept;

• Actively supports the Public Relations efforts of Festool ensuring extremely prompt, accurate and complete product is sent as requested;

• Supports sales events such as dealer shows (Woodcraft, LMC, etc.);

• Coordinates and manages association memberships and participation;

• Coordinates support for our sponsorships;

• Designs Roadshow crates, boxes for trade shows, and other items to be built;

• Manages Marketing inventory in the warehouse including annual physical inventory;

• Performs other required tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Associates degree or at least 2 years of event or tradeshow coordination experience required;

• At least 2 years marketing communications experience;

• Background in the building trades, woodworking industry, painting industry or similar experience preferred;

• Familiarity with power tools and machinery a plus;

• Ability to travel up to 30%;

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills;

• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes;

• Ability to lift and maneuver products up to 50 lbs.:

• Ability and desire to learn quickly and apply new skills;

• Position is based in Lebanon, Indiana.
